We monitor traffic efficiently, simply and cost effectively

We are using the technology based on geomagnetic detectors embedded in the ground, emitting signal to data collectors. The detector recognizes the presence of a vehicle thanks to the detection of geomagnetic field change.

CITIQ technology advantages

Our technology is robust.

The detectors are embedded in the ground and skinned with cold asphalt mixture or can be in the form of a cobble. They are very resistant to weather and as they are almost invisible within the road they are not targets of vandalism.


Detectors are wireless.

We do not need any cables, no major impact to the road surface, just a small hole drilling where we put sensors and the wireless transfer of data solve the rest.


The installation is quick and simple.

The hole drilling and the installation of a detector is made by two technicians and takes about 15 minutes.


The detectors have a long lifetime.

We guarantee the battery lifetime of 5 years. Based on our experience they can last up to 8 years.


We guarantee high accuracy.

In the areas where there are no tramways our detectors achieve 97% of successful vehicle passage recognition. In the tramway areas the accuracy is about 90 %.


The detectors need almost no maintenance.

The standard operation does not require any operation crew actions. Once a year it is recommended to execute a recalibration which can be done remotely. Our technicians are at your disposal for that.


Data transfer

The detectors send data to the collectors that are placed within the radio range, e.g. in the traffic sign or public lighting poles. In the Czech Republic we can profit from 3 available communication networks - IQRF, SIGFOX and LoRA. We can help you choose the optimum network for your solution regarding the frequency and volume of the data.

Software

All the software in the standard system is run in cloud CITIQ infrastructure.
The customer is provided with push notifications in the case of status change to the customer specified URL. Besides this standard access to API it is possible to have an access to CITIQ monitoring system – a web service collecting diagnostics and monitoring data from all the detectors.

CITIQ monitoring system enables:
- statistics survey for a particular time period in graphs
- basic statistics functions (e.g. minimum/maximum) for a particular time period
- creation of so called watch lists – tabular surveys with the actual value for selected data points
- creation of so called events – specification of terms on data points when reached to automatically make aware the operation staff (e.g. low value of the battery voltage or inaccessibility of diagnostics data for a particular time period)
- set up of email/SMS notification for a particular event occurrence

Magnetic detector

The magnetic detector serves for monitoring of parking occupancy or traffic flow counting (number of vehicles, their length and velocity).

Data collectors serve for collection of data from magnetic detectors when using the IQRF communication.

Data collector and communication control unit among the installed elements of the parking system. It transfers actual data online for further processing (export to DATEX II, remote monitoring). The recommended number of connected detectors per MASTER is up to 200 pieces.

The unit MASTER can be combined with LED displays

SLAVE CS-126xF

RF signal repeater. It serves for transferring data from detectors to MASTER unit. Based on wireless MESH network it efficiently covers the required area with RF signal. It is an auxiliary element for wider scale installations.

The CITIQ equipment installation is very simple. It is made by 2 men crew and the embedment of a detector takes about 15 minutes. The installation is made by a hole drilling, inserting the detector and skinning the hole with cold asphalt mixture which makes the intrusion almost invisible.

Decalogue of the system installation

The detector can be in the form of a cobble so it is not recognisable from the other cobbles. This type of installation is the fastest one.
